In April we partook in a fun "Adult" event sponsored by Autism Speaks, Double Denim Bar Crawl. We had the pleasure of dressing up in our Double Denim and enjoying a great day walking through the bars in Wrigleyville.
Ben, I , and a few of our close friends attended a fundraiser put on by a man who's son is Autistic. He organized a wonderful evening at Maywood Park that included; dinner, raffle prizes, and live harness racing. We had a wonderful time and a few of us one great prizes from the raffle!
In May of 2013 our family and friends participated in the Walk Now for Autism Speaks that took place at Solider Field. We were lucky to have amazing weather and a chance to walk in honor of Landon and the others affected with Autism.

This year Ben and I were unable to attend An Evening with the Stars but we hope to attend the even in the next couple of years. We are hoping to attend the 6th Annual "Double Denim Bar Crawl" as well as attending "A Day At The Races" on Sunday, April 27th with hopes of bringing a few friends for a fun outing at Hawthorne Park. We will also be forming a team once again for the "Walk Now for Autism Speaks" that will take place on Saturday, May 17th at Solider Field. I will also be running for Team Up with Autism Speaks in July for the Rock*N*Roll 1/2 Marathon!!
