1st Trip to the Dentist

Back in June we attempted our very first trip to see the Dentist.  My teaching partner had given me a great recommendation so we scheduled a quick check-up with her.   We prepared Landon with going to the dentist by watching a few video's on YouTube to show him what would happen.  We told him that the dentist would look in his mouth, count his teeth, and then brush his teeth for him.  Of course Landon's response was always "No go to the dentist, mama!"  

Surprisingly he did really well.  He cried throughout the entire visit but he would allow both the hygienist and the dentist to look in his mouth, count his teeth, and clean them.  They held off on x-rays but informed me that they would like to do them in January.  

Because Landon is not great with new experiences we are still working towards brushing his teeth at home with regular toothpaste and flossing.  Hopefully by the time we return in January we will have those tasks completed daily!
