Let's Play Some Hockey!

As we all know Landon is a BIG fan of Hockey and the Chicago Blackhawks.  In January he started basic skating lessons at Canlan Ice Arena in Romeoville.  He has enjoyed himself greatly and LOVES to go to skating!  He has come a long way and Ben and I felt he was ready to start Hockey Developmental Classes.  To take these classes would require Landon to be in complete Hockey Gear!  I was a little worried about the sensory overload that may take place with getting him in full gear but the kid suprised me by being totally ok with it.  I guess in his mind he knew the end result was getting to play hockey so he was determined!  In this class Landon will learn the basic hockey skating skills while wearing ALL of the eqiupment.  Unforutnatly he will not be using a stick or puck at this time but eventually he will get there.  Of course he is having a blast and enjoying himself!  He is great at skating in all of the hockey gear and its a joy to watch him do what he is so passionate about!!

Class #2 included his helmet witht he cage back on.  He did GREAT!
