We knew that we had to slowly re-introduce baby food's to
Quinn so Children's gave us a nice organized spreadsheet (right up my alley) of
options to try and what ages would be best. So as any organized mother would I
highlighted the fruit and veggie we would introduce once a week. This week was
squash and bananas. Now Quinn had always done well with squash and never seemed
to affect her. I had some speculations about bananas but I would give them
another go. Yesterday I noticed Quinn was a little extra cranky and had a rough
time with her morning and afternoon nap. I decided to feed her a mix of squash
and bananas at dinner to see what would happen during the evening hours. As I
suspected Quinn had a bad night's sleep. She was up a few times and by 1am she
and I were downstairs in the family room, she in the swing and me on the couch.
So I made an executive decision to only feed her squash today. No bananas! I
also knew it would take about 24-36hours before all the bananas would have
completely left her system. As time passed Quinn's mood change and she took an
amazing morning and afternoon nap. The test of course will be her evening
sleep! On Friday we will start a new food adventure: one new veggie and one new
fruit!
