Landon had a great two week break from therapies as well as school. He enjoyed being home with us and playing with friends. I was a little nervous about his return to therapy and how he would do. I was also nervous as to how he would adjust to his new pre-school. Yesterday I received a wonderful picture collage from his teachers at his new school. There were pictures of a happy, smiling little boy playing, sitting at circle time, and enjoying school. Looking at this collage brought tears to my eyes. He was adjusting and enjoying school! Yesterday was also his first day back to ABA therapy with Ms. Lisa. I am not going to lie I was nervous and hoped his end of the session report would go well. Ben took him last night while Quinn and I waited at home. Ben called to say that he had an awesome session! He was able to stay on task and sit at the table for 30 minutes. He made 11 requests and has mastered all of his uppercase letters! She was glad to see he had no regression from the 2 week break and is so proud of his language development. Ben and I are so thankful for the wonderful therapists that work with Landon! Our little boy has come a long way in such a short time and we are grateful to all of those that have helped us along the way. We know that he has a long road ahead of him but we like to stop and celebrate the small steps and gains he has made!
WAY TO GO LANDON!!!!
