Happy 10 Months Quinn Renee

Quinn Renee 02/19/2013--10 Months!

My, oh my where does the time go!? I cannot believe you are 10 months already and that we have already started to plan your 1st Birthday Party!! You have learned to pull up and walk all around the furniture while holding on! You have also learned how to safely get back down so you can crawl and get what you want faster!! You are really starting to recognize the family members you see regularly and your face lights up when you see them! Your big brother is still your favorite! You even enjoy "mocking" him when he cries! I hate that I laugh but it’s kind of funny to see you do this.

Weight: 16lbs 11oz and growing!
Height: about 28inches
Eating: Now that we have you on a routine you enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner in your high chair! You have mastered baby purees and your cereal! On a good day you will eat an entire jar of Mixed Turkey with Vegetable AND a pouch of Fruit/Veggie combo!
Sleep: Even though you still get up twice a night to eat you are getting better! You usually are in bed by 7:30. You fall asleep on your own and usually do not fight us. Daddy or I usually feed you around 12:30 and then again at 4:00 or 5:00am. You are usually up for the day at 6:30am!

We are still working on self-feeding and finger foods. We have a nutritionist coming twice a month to work with you on this. Early Intervention has suggested that we take you back to the GI to have test run to make sure your gut is growing, healthy, and no other issues before we force new foods on you. We are also taking you back to the allergist to have you re-tested at 1. Early Intervention had suggested that we continue to work with you on eating and allow you to explore the foods that are safe for your belly. They believe a big reason why you are not exploring with your mouth or new foods is because of your sensitive tummy. I can completely understand and we are working with the therapist to help you!
