HAWKS!

My Hawks Fan is back and in FULL effect. If he sees one of his Hawks shirts or jersey's out he will insist on wearing them. I am sure his teachers at school wonder if the kid has any other clothes! He will go through his closet or his laundry basket, pick around, and grab his gear. He will come up to me and say "How about this one!?" This in Landon terms means, “I want to wear this!" I do my best to keep up with laundry and make sure his Hawks gear is clean and ready for game days. Last week Ben and I had the opportunity to attend the Hawks game. So I had my Hawks gear on as well as the rest of us. We were headed to drop the kids off to nana's and as we passed the usual way to get to Nana's Landon started to cry. I asked him what was wrong and he answered me! He said "Let's Go Hawks Game!" That moment I looked at Ben, stunned! My son just requested to go to the Hawks game!!!! Of course tears came to my eyes because first he was able to verbally tell me what was wrong as well as telling us he WANTED to go to the game! So I made sure that the next game Landon would be there!

Today is the day! He is taking a big nap to prepare for the Hawks game tonight with Nana and myself! I have been teaching him "Detroit Sucks," so he is ready to chant with the rest of the fans! Hoping to get some great pictures of him enjoying his beloved Hawks!
