Landon has
learned a lot of new language since attending school daily. He has done a great
job over the past 6 months! He has made some great gains in speaking and
telling us what he wants. In the last few weeks school has taught him the
phrase "I Want..." and boy have we heard that daily. In the morning
Landon will yell: "I Want FISH, I want FISH, MAMA!" And he will
continue that phrase until a bowl of goldfish has been placed in his lap. We
are trying to get him to request "I want, followed by please but that does
not always seem to work. He is using language more to tell us what he wants,
what is wrong. If we are in the car I will hear the phrase: "I want GOAL
mama!" This means he wants to hear Chelesea Dagger. We also have been
listening to a lot of Slipper Fish in the car as well! We are so proud of how
far he has come and look forward to much more language emerging! He is really
starting to value the importance of language and words!
