Catching Up

Things have been busy around here the last few weeks; I wish I had more time to blog! Landon had his last week of ECE, Quinn started weekly Speech Therapy, and house packing has begun! Landon has also been lucky and attended 2 Blackhawks playoff games!!

Landon had his last day of ECE in the Squirrel Room with his friends and 3 favorite teachers. I attempted to go in and take some pictures on his last day but he was too excited to see me in his classroom that he did not want to participate. He has this week off and next week he will attend ECE Summer School with 3 new teachers and new friends in the Owl Room!!

Landon had the best time at the 2 playoff Hawks games he attended. We were lucky enough to be at Game 7 vs. Detroit and Game 1 vs. LA Kings. He had an absolute blast! Singing, dancing, clapping, high-fiving, and waving his rally towel! He has had so much fun that his new daily request is: "Mama Do You Think?" Let's Go Hawks Game!" It is difficult to explain to a 3 year old we have to wait for the next game. Lord help us when Hockey Season is over!

Here are some Landon pics of the past couple of weeks!

Quinn has started weekly Speech Therapy and has been doing well. We are working on using her tongue to manipulate food and produce new sounds. She has been trying new foods a lot and we are proud of the gains she has made. She is really starting to get her own "sassy" personality and I am interested to see what her next new words will be. She is great at antagonizing her big brother and getting into everything! She is still fearful to walk by herself but she enjoys pushing baby strollers and carts all over the place! She just needs a little more confidence to let go and start to walk. She has realized her crawling skills can get her to places faster at this point! Quinn will start weekly OT services next week in home. Looking forward to helping her in any way I can.
Here are some pictures of our little Quinn Renee:
