Hawks Training Camp

WOW!  Did summer fly by and so did the off-season for hockey.  Before we knew it September has approached and Landon's beloved Hawks will  be back in action soon.  We took the kids to Hawks Training Camp a week back (yes I am late on this post).  We prepared Landon for his big return to the United Center all day and he was SO excited he fell asleep in the car!  We got there right when the doors opened and waited in the VERY long line to enter!  Seats for training camp were first come first serve so we did our best to find seats on the 100 Level.  We attempted to seat in Nana and Popo's seats but those of course were taken.  We ended  up sitting behind the net with a great view of the ice for Landon and Quinn.

Not much was going to take place for an hour so we did our best to keep the two little ones entertained and happy.  Quinn enjoyed sharing some of Popo and Nana's dinner with them and Landon just looked around in awe.  You could tell he was waiting for the usual routine of "game-day!"

And before we knew it the LOUD HORN blew and out came Landon's Hawks for warm-up.  He looked at me and said "OH WOW!"  "It's Hawks Mama!"  He was in his element and excited for his hockey!

Landon enjoyed the entire warm up process; skate, videos, and of course "Oh Say Can You See!"  Watching him during these times gives me such great joy and happiness.  He has such a passion and love for the Hawks it always puts a smile on my face!  Quinn also enjoyed herself during training camp.  She clapped, danced, and yelled with excitement.  The two of them will love opening night next week.
